Here was the problem the whole time. The top bracket holding the bar cracked. Anymore tension and it would have split completely #ludwig #ludwigspeedking

Attempting to take this bad boy apart. Nice job Ludwig. Its been pretty interesting figuring out if these Speedking’s actually come apart or is it just impossible to do. 2 days go it literally gave me hell. The nightmare hasn’t stopped. Thought just the mallet breaking was a simple thing to fix. Now that I found two cracks in the brace that holds the mallet in place and I’m flipping out about it. I might have to get a whole new pedal. I DON’T WANT TO. I finally have it set were I want it! Its been an interesting week of drumming to the max. Guess I’ve found my limit! An hour later…finally found out how to get this piece off the bar…covered in the grease from handling the grease caps as they rolled all over the place. Haha (: Yay! Now just hope I can get this part replaced! #ludwig #ludwigspeedking #happinessoneagain

Since Bethany is originally from one of my favorite places ever. Glendale, California! One of my favorite bands that I grew up on and was luck enough to see twice is from Glendale. And the band wrote a song called Glendale Train. It was about the famous train robbery that took place in the late 1800s I believe. (:
