Lexa wasn’t Commander because Luna didn’t want to be. Lexa is Commander because, even though she wanted peace, she chose to ACCEPT THE FUCKING RESPONSIBILITY AND FIGHT FOR IT. Not run away. Luna can say she would have been Commander all she wants. It doesn’t make it true. We could tell Lexa didn’t agree with all the customs of her people either. Just the fact that she got a tattoo to commemorate every Natblida that died at her Conclave shows she wanted to remember them. She carried that burden with her. Perhaps as a reminder of what she wanted to accomplish as Commander. She wanted to forge a peaceful path. And that’s what she did. She united 12, and then 13 clans. She brought the Ice Nation under control. She had the courage to break the tradition of “jus drein jus daun.” She was wise, compassionate, and strong. She lost so much but still fought so hard and loved so deeply. Even when she was taught that it was weakness. What did Luna do? She ran away. Sorry, but just because Luna wants peace doesn’t mean she is or would have been the better leader. Lexa wanted peace too but she didn’t run from it. Luna ran away and hid instead of trying to make those changes herself. Lexa was and will always be the true Commander.

Delphine was mentioned by two characters! Two! Almost as good as seeing her face for real! Helena disappeared and no one cared. Evie Cho’s voice is the most annoying thing I’ve ever had to listen to and apparently Tatiana Maslany works out a lot!
