Okay, so I’ve seen a lot of “I’m not watching orphan black if Delphine is dead” and “let the ob fandom be as salty as the 100” floating around and I have to say, it seems utterly ridiculous to me.
Boycotting the 100 was justified and its not about that at all, this is different.
One character is not the be all and end all of the show. Her sexuality isn’t what got her written off. (Which I’m assuming she has been) she was shot FOR THE STORY which makes 100% SENSE and isn’t for shock value at all.
This isn’t a ‘stray bullet kills a queer character’ situation. This is a ‘a character (who just happens to be bisexual) is shot for the sake of the plot’ situation.
Please also take in to consideration Evelyne’s astonishing work load, she can’t do everything!
This show is full of strong women, who defy the odds to survive, a main character who is a lesbian and a second character who is gay, not to mention a trans character. The LGBTQ community is represented in this show more than in 100’s of shows put together.
If Delphine is dead, it isn’t because she is a queer character.
John and Graeme have our backs. I believe that.
