Unpopular Opinion: A lot of people were angry and hurt that she didn’t get to say I love you, but to me this is better. To me, this is her saying I love you in the most Clexa way possible. After all, the whole ship was based on two people being the only ones who could understand one another’s position as leader of a large group of people, needing to put themselves last and sacrifice everything. Lexa respected Clarke as a leader first and then fell for her as person. By this scene, she loved every piece of Clarke. ‘That’s why you’re you,’ to me, sounds a whole lot like “You’ve made a choice that doesn’t benefit me personally and makes me ache, but I love you even more for it because the person I fell for is one who would do and give anything for her people, just like me.”

And you know why? Because a handful of angry fans are actually crossing the line and ruining the experience for other people. They are making some of us Tuckson shippers so unhappy we almost don’t want to talk about it anymore.
And that is NOT right.
I know people don’t like Tuckson. I even understand why they do. And I don’t always agree with the tweets or creative decisions of the writers either.
But, there’s one thing I have always tried to be and that is respectful to the shippers, the crew, and the cast - even when I don’t always agree. But lately I’ve been seeing people call the crew “miserable asshats”, “selfish assholes” and even expressing disappointment with the ACTORS who are just doing their jobs!
Not to mention, people like myself who genuinely enjoy watching SVU and shipping Tuckson, are called “bots”, “sycophants”, and basically ass kissers. Not cool. Grow the hell up.
While I might not have been thrilled if certain other ships sailed, I would have still been supportive of the fans and the show. If people hate the pairing and the show THAT much, they just need to stop watching. Because the constant negativity and nastiness is too much.
And I find it REALLY sad that some of this come from people who supposedly practice tolerance. Sorry, guys, but sometimes blunt honesty is just rude.
And if there has been bullying of other fans - i.e ones who don’t like Tuckson or some of the story lines - that IS NOT cool either. I love healthy discussions. I may not always agree with people’s POVs but I won’t be nasty about it. And shame on 2.0 fans who are being nasty to non-Tuckson shippers.Come on, people, at the end of the day, no one deserves to be bullied or mocked for whom they love or whom they ship.
