Anyone else see the parallels between The 100 and Orphan Black here? I’m not crying you’re crying.

I am sick and tired of writers constantly using the excuse of “no one is safe on our show” to justify killing a queer character. It’s a shitty, overused excuse for trying to detach your show from this fucking trope which is obviously used in mainstream television.
If you want ‘shock factor’, or a good plot line with relevant plot twists, I strongly suggest keeping the queer character alive & actually giving them a happy ending - because I can guarantee you that it will generate a bigger reaction. Because it hardly ever fucking happens in our community.

Good job Jason Rothenberg. Like us queer people hadn’t been through enough already, now we lose Lexa, who’s honestly the best thing that happened to this show, her relationship with Clarke was magic, perfect, and revolutionary for a tv show, and Jason messed it up, I’m so mad right now, not only by the way she was killed off, which was just plain dumb, Clarke could’ve easily saved her like she saved Lincoln and Raven before, I’m disappointed by what her death means to the LGBTQ community, it’s always the same, the lesbian dies and the girl will ultimately end up with the the guy, and that’s it, no m/m or f/f relationship seem to ever be endgame, and that’s just not fair. I’m so done with tv right now
