After much stress and resistance from the internet, I finally present this video. Consider this my tribute to Mariska’s ability to bring Olivia Benson’s pain to life in such a remarkable way. Often times, using nothing more than gut wrenching facial expressions.
merelala: Friendly reminder these photos exist :)
allthingssvu: She looks fantastic.

what she means: delphine cormier had the most promising character development currently on tv, was one of the few openly bisexual characters in media and she and the fascinating cophine dynamic deserved so much better

Pairs Well With…Against Me!, Courtney Barnett, Sleater-Kinney
Lyrical pop-punk can be an impactful genre when done right and Brooklyn rock band Worriers clearly has a firm, knowing grasp. Led by vocalist/guitarist Lauren Denitzio, Worriers takes banging garage rock and power pop and weaves into it personal, inversely political storytelling. Those lyrics come quick in a series of musical punches - the songs on Imaginary Life mostly stick to two minutes or under. Concise yet consistently wordy, Denitzio represents rock songwriting at its finest. The mini-record’s tight, aggressive production comes courtesy of Against Me!’s Laura Jane Grace, a band that is a nice marker of where Worriers’ sound seems to be heading. This is punk music with statements both big and small, amplified with rock and roll power and energy.
