so a few days ago i sat down for dinner and my mom handed me the camera with a strange look on her face. all she said was “you need to see this” and i was like ?? okay
but then
that is my dad with a pigeon on his head.
SO OF COURSE MY REACTION WAS JUST “WHAT?! HOW??? HOW” and APPARENTLY when my dad was outside gardening, he saw it land on the roof of our house. and then it just. flew down. and landed on his head
BUT NOW IT WON’T LEAVE
like the other morning i stepped outside to call my dad in for lunch and the pigeon was just sitting on the front porch watching him work

I just heard this woman say “you procrastinate because you are afraid of rejection. It’s a defense mechanism, you are trying to protect yourself without even trying.” and I think I just realized what was wrong with me.
Yep, this is a very, very common reason for procrastinating. It’s also why procrastination, even though it’s often associated with laziness, is a fairly common trait in a lot of people with anxiety and perfectionism issues.

It is easier to deal with not completing something because you didn’t try to do it than to deal with trying to do it and failing to do it perfectly

If Delphine is really dead ( Which I refuse to believe so. ) but say she is. Than I really hope the writers are realistic about it. I hope we see Cosima mourning the lost of her pit-of-the-soul-can’t-live-without-it love. I would need to see her pain, her lost, her regrets. I would need to see her expressing how she feels, or her even refusing to talk about it because it hurts too much. I would need an honest representation of how soul crushed, hollow, and fragile you become when someone you truly love dies.
If they pass it off like it’s nothing for the sake of moving things along, I will lose immense respect for the writers. And I would never forgive them, honestly. Delphine life is just as important as Sarah’s, Alison’s, Helena’s , Cosima’s and Beth’s. Her life should be respected, not disregarded. I don’t want one mention, some tears, and move along. I want the toll it takes on someone. I want realistic.
