I have friends like this. Just leave them alone, they’re allowed to do what they want.
Also do NOT joke about slipping us some, spiking what we’re drinking, etc. We don’t find it funny, we don’t think your cute and we immediately decide you cannot be trusted. There are boatloads of reasons why people may choose not to drink and all of them are valid and worthy of respect.
Never pressure anyone to drink. You never know who might (a) be a recovering (or at least dry) alcoholic, (b) have alcoholism run in their family and/or have suffered abuse from alcoholic friends or family, or (c) have suffered some trauma when taken advantage of while drinking or have had some otherwise bad experience.
People have various life experiences and what may be fun to you could have a significant negative impact on another.
I honestly don’t care about the rest of y’all whom are just annoyed, but the above are the people I am here for.
I hate it when people pull that on me. No don’t try to make me drink alcohol, I stopped for a very good reason.
