It was easy to spot the Best Coast fans at the Burger A Go Go, they were the ones clutching vinyl copies of their work with sharpies in hand wishing for an autograph after the show and asking photographers to grab the set list for them during our three song temporary stay in front of the stage. There was even a fan boy photographer in the pit with smart phone in one hand and vinyls in the other trying to get someone’s attention in order to get an autograph. But Bethany Cosentino was not there to sign autographs she was there to please admirers with her music. Best Coast headlined the Burger A Go Go on Saturday at the Observatory during its twilight final set, which highlighted both fresh syrupy tunes and material from albums “Crazy for You” and “The Only Place.”
