Tomorrow I am off to NYC! It’s finally here and dreams are about to come true. I want to take a moment to thank everyone that helped make this possible. Whether it was being a supportive friend during my moments of hardship or weakness, or being a cheerleader and giving me a boost along the way, or selflessly donating your money to help make this possible. You all have a very special place in my heart and you are all part of my story of how I got to where I am. Thank you!
Nothing in life worth having comes easily. It’s for sure something I’ve really learned on this journey. After years of hard work, I have finally made it this far. And I still have a lot of hard work in front of me. But it is worth it!
Tomorrow morning I will be boarding a flight to the city where my heart belongs. My internet will be very limited on this trip so I am not sure how much I will be able to post during my time away (who knows, I may cave and use my internet the night of the gala and suffer the hefty bill). But I can’t wait to tell you all about the trip and the gala and share my pictures with you all!
